Cinnabar Zodiac Guardian Pendant — Choose Your Birth Buddha

Eight figures, twelve animals, one piece of red.

In the Chinese system every birth year belongs to one of twelve animals,
and each animal is traditionally paired with a Buddha or bodhisattva.
This pendant is molded in relief with that figure — the front shows the
figure, the back carries a lotus and a blue cabochon, and both sides are
finished by hand.

The color is the material itself, not a coating. Cinnabar is dense, and
at this size it has real weight in the hand.

· Rabbit — Manjushri
· Dragon & Snake — Samantabhadra

in January or early February, you may belong to the previous year's animal.
