Elementa App Privacy Policy

Elementa ("we", "us") is a Chinese Five Elements (BaZi) app. This policy explains what we collect, why, and what we never do.

1. Who we are

Elementa is operated by Suzhou Yaocheng Culture Communication Co., Ltd., registered in the People's Republic of China.

2. What we collect

Stored only on your device (never uploaded)

Your birth date, birth time and birth city, plus an optional display name
Your chart, daily insights and generated reports
Your language and notification preferences

You can delete all of it at any time by deleting the app.

Sent to our server only when you use AI features

A summary of your chart: Day Master, five-element balance, supportive elements, energy level, today's day pillar and the day's activities
This summary does not include your name, your email address, or your birth date.
The generated text is cached for 48 hours under a key built from the day and your chart's element pattern — the key contains no personal identifiers.

Collected only if you choose to request a personal reading

The email address you type into the report screen, so we can deliver the reading to you

Subscription status

Verified through the Apple-signed receipt issued by StoreKit. We never see your payment details.

3. What we never do

No advertising SDKs, no third-party analytics SDKs, no cross-app tracking
We do not sell or rent your data
We do not use your data to train AI models

4. Service providers

Apple — subscription billing and receipt signing. Data involved: your Apple ID purchase record.
Cloudflare — runs our API proxy. Data involved: the request payload (chart summary, no identifiers).
DeepSeek — generates the daily insight text. Data involved: the chart summary described above.
SendGrid — delivers the emailed reading. Data involved: the email address you provided.

5. Retention

On-device data — until you delete the app
Emailed readings — your address is kept only as long as needed to answer your request, then removed
AI response cache — 48 hours

6. Your rights

You may ask us to access, correct or delete any data associated with your email address by writing to admin@elementajewelry.com. We respond within 30 days. If you are in the EEA or UK, you also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

7. Children

Elementa is not directed to children under 13 (or under 16 in the EEA/UK). We do not knowingly collect data from them. If you believe a child has provided us data, contact us and we will delete it.

All readings are generated from traditional Chinese astrology for entertainment purposes only. They are not medical, psychological, legal or financial advice.
